Pottery kilns

Pottery Kilns in which to fire clay or ceramic bisque are now mostly electrical powered, computer controlled, easy to use, top loading ovens of high quality and reliable operation. Ventilation systems are available for use in confined spaces like small contemporary art studios or ceramic or clay cafes and ensure that fumes from bisque ware and glaze products are safely expelled. A kiln operating on a standard household 13 amp power supply and suitable for use in the home, a garage or a shed for the hobbyist or mobile painting pottery business, or in schools or nurseries is also available. Advice on vents and venting requirements and training on loading and firing is free when a kiln is purchased from Country Love Ceramics. All kilns are supplied with a range of furniture that includes props, stilts and bat wash. Larger kilns for use in busy Paint Your Own Pottery studios or ceramic cafes are particularly good value for money and occasionally some second hand kilns do become available.
