Moreover, every location has its own peculiarities: doors, windows, access dimensions, power supply, water supply, floor, ceiling and lighting all impinge on the kiln selection. It therefore makes sense to buy a kiln where maintenance and spare parts are readily available. Buy where maintenance and support is readily available.

Consider the whole package!  Best value for money can be obscured by the impact of a low price.  Consider the safety features, the quality of the fire brick used, the size and gauge of the heating elements, the strength and resistance to corrosion of the chassis, and just how user friendly and reliable is the controller?
